All of the pre-Block II Saturn 1 vehicles (SA-1 through SA-4) were single stage vehicles utilizing a rather complex boat tail assembly at the aft end. The vehicle also had no fins. The SA-4 was the transition vehicle to the Block II versions in that it utilized an "upper stage" with most of the shape and attachments that would be used on the Block II vehicles.
Why none of the other Saturn I vehicles here? Well...I plan on adding them later but my personal favorite of the series is the SA-4 Saturn so that's what I started with.
