The video on the home page of the scale Goddard rocket whipping through the air at NARAM 2000 has been a source of amusement and a trigger for a number of emails and comments concerning what it did and why it did it. Well, I have come across an article in Model Rocketry Magazine which appeared over 40 years ago in the January 1969 issue which discusses just this topic.
